The AI Readiness Self-Assessment
Fifteen questions, five minutes, and an honest answer about what to do next
⚠
This is a light self-assessment, not a full AI assessment. A short questionnaire cannot see your contracts, your data flows, your vendor terms, or the systems you actually run on, and it only knows what you tell it. Treat the score as an indicator of roughly where you stand and what to look at next. It is not an audit, not a finding, and not something to hand to an insurer, a client, or a regulator as evidence.

Your answers stay on this page. Scoring happens in your browser and answers are saved only on your own device. Nothing reaches us unless you ask for the 15-minute review at the bottom, which sends your score along so the conversation can start somewhere useful.
0 = no / no idea · 1 = partly / informally · 2 = yes, and I could show you
Part 1: Visibility (do you know what is already happening?)
1
Could you list the AI tools your team used this week, including the unofficial ones?
2
Do you know which of those tools train on the data your team enters?
3
Has anyone checked what categories of data (client, financial, employee) have already been pasted into them?
4
If a client asked "how does your firm use AI on our information?", could you answer today, in writing, without a scramble?
Part 2: Guardrails (have any decisions actually been made?)
5
Is there a written AI policy, even one page, that your team has actually seen?
6
Are your AI accounts business-tier company accounts rather than personal free accounts?
7
When someone leaves the company, does their AI access get shut off with everything else?
8
Is there a stated rule about human review before AI-drafted work reaches a client?
9
Does somebody own AI decisions here, so tool requests and questions have somewhere to go?
Part 3: Value (is it actually earning anything yet?)
10
Is AI saving measurable time on at least one recurring task, numbers you could quote, not a feeling?
11
Have you measured any task's before-and-after, even roughly?
12
Has at least one workflow gone beyond copy-paste into a chatbot, meaning AI connected to a real process?
13
Do you know your monthly all-in AI spend, including the overlapping subscriptions?
14
Have you killed or declined at least one AI tool on evidence? (Yes, this scores points. Saying no to tools is a capability.)
15
Could you name the next workflow you would automate, and why that one?
Your score:0 / 30
Want to walk through your results with someone? Fifteen minutes.
We will save your score to your contact record and hand you our calendar on the next screen. The call is a review of what you just scored: what the number means for a business your size, and what the next three moves are. If the honest answer is that you can do those yourself, that is what you will hear.
